As promised here’s the second image for the CTT. This one’s based on Adam Duncan’s fairy sketch. You can ask him why she’s all naked.

I imagine she likes to sit down with a nice, hot cup of fermented rowan berry juice to keep the cold, bitterly lonely winter away.

Well, here’s another one of these girlie speedpaints - fairly loose one this time around. I liked the lighting and all the reflected light in the reference image.

Here’s a few designs for U16’s “The Many Faces of Spaceman Mini” activity. Winner of the acitivity gets a Spaceman Mini of his or her own, so take part. I suspect it’s going to be a bloody battle though…

The first one is based on my old spaceman design from a previous post.

And these two are just a little kinky. I don’t think they’ll be going into mass production. I might do a couple more, maybe.

Couple of images for U16’s CTT activity. The first is based on Adam Duncan’s image. Consider this the result of fucking typing a thesis for at least eight hours a day for (almost)couple of weeks.

And my sketch for the next in line… Consider this a preliminary sketch for another project to come.

Pencil sketches! Watercolor paintings! Photoreferenced nudists! In the order they were created!

I think I could get the hang of this watercolor stuff with some more practice. Fun, except when the results turn out bad, hahhah. Or when you’re trying to get a decent scans of them…

I was doing some digital doodling and it occurred to me I could do some fan art of Jed McGowan’s awesome “Ritual of the Savage” comic that he’s been working on lately.

Even though my pinup is pretty ironic take on Jed’s comic - which itself is quite ironic - it doesn’t appear all that ironic, which in turn is sort of ironic.

What? Oh. I’ll shut up now. First the pinup, then the doodles.

The rest of the calendar images are coming up shortly, but in the mean time here’s something else. I haven’t gotten any drawing done since the holidays - save for some doodles in my sketchbook - so I’m glad to be finally doing it again.

This is just another photo referenced speedpaint of a naked girl - a redhead this time. I painted it in ArtRage 2 and really wasn’t sure if it would amount to anything, as it was technically a venture into the unknown for me. But what do you know, I think it turned out quite swell and was a lot of fun to do.

Man, I’ve been busy lately! I managed to get the blog updated to Wordpress, but haven’t had the time to play with my new toy up until now.

I finally had some time to do some drawing just for myself, and here are the results. Doodles and sketches of my regular cast - monsters and women.

The title pretty much says it all there really is to say about these. These are just couple of pages from my digital sketchbook, consisting mainly of random doodles of naked women (yet again) and other human and non-human characters.

Trying out a new technique, which could be worth pursuing for some projects. These were done in Manga Studio, by the way. I guess I’ll have to see how much I can bend the program to break from the regular pencil and ink type approach.

Same story as with the earlier ones - it’s a photoreffed speedpaint. I didn’t do any sketching or measuring and unintentionally ended up sexing her up with considerably longer legs.

Another late night speedpaint. Backs are interesting and tough to do (without photo reference, that is). There’s huge amount of variety, depending on the pose and how muscular the person is.
