Teemu Matinlauri

I was born in Oulu, Finland in 1980. After passing my matriculation examination, I moved to arctic Rovaniemi in 1999 to study Graphic Design at the University of Lapland. After having spent the year 2000 in the finnish armed forces, I got back to studying and finally got my Bachelor's Degree of Arts in 2006. The Master's Degree is still in the works.

For a few summers and christmas vacations during my studies I worked as a graphic designer for the ad agency Rapid River for a total of a year's time. I got well acquinted with working with photographs and many different aspects of graphic design such as books, websites and PR projects for different municipalities.

Recently I've been working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, trying to focus more the type of work that I find the most interesting and can do best. That's what this site is all about.
